Below are some words from Dustin Beals, one of the worship leaders at the Topeka House of Prayer. It really spoke to me today, maybe it will for you too.

Finding peace in the middle of everyday life can be difficult at times. Maybe considering how Jesus taught His disciples to pray might give us some revelation into how Jesus found peace in His life. “Our Father Who art in heaven hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We know that Heaven is made of righteousness, joy, and PEACE.  Could it be that finding peace in the midst of life is basically as simple as declaring “peace be still” to the circumstances around you? That’s what Jesus did when on a boat in the middle of a large lake the Disciples woke Him up in a panic because of the fear for their lives. Jesus stood up and spoke (declared) to the wind and waves “peace be still”. In the midst of your life try to think of how Jesus would see your circumstances and then declare to whatever is troubling you, “peace be still, in Jesus name”.
